The Museum
Until 1 July 2013 Brandts Museum was home to three independent institutions: The Media Museum, The Museum of Photography and Kunsthallen Brandts. On 1 July Kunsthallen Brandts, The Museum of Photography and the Funen Art Museum merged into one big art museum. New director at Brandts is art historian Mads Damsbo. Both vision and mission of Brandts Museum are clear; the vision is, that they are the most innovative museum in Denmark. And as one of the lead­ing art mu­se­ums in Den­mark, their mis­sion is to pre­sent new and clas­sic art along­side vi­sual cul­ture. Brandts fa­cil­i­tates art and cre­ates ex­pe­ri­ences that change peo­ple and give pride to Odense and res­onate in the rest of the coun­try.

The Shop
Brandts Shop is an experience in itself, featuring a wide selection of beautiful designer goods and handsome books related to the museum’s exhibitions. As part of the new Brandts, the shop will expand its assortment of goods in the course of this year and sharpen its profile as a shop offering quality products.
