The North Atlantic House

Copenhagen was through 300 years the gateway to the North Atalantic, and so it was appropriate that when it was decided to establish a creative centre for the North Atlantic culture, that it was placed in one of the landmark harbour buildings right in the centre of Copenhagen.

North Atlantic House is a cultural centre dedicated to preserving, promoting and conveying North Atlantic culture and art. A collaborative project between Denmark, Iceland, Greenland and the Faroe Islands and includes three galleries and conference facilities. The centre also houses the Icelandic embassy and the permanent representations of Greenland and the Faroe Islands.

Their shop is a wonderful collection of artisanship from across the whole Nordic region - carefully curated to inspire any visitor. A cool place to experience true Nordic culture!
